Signature Publishing encourages and supports charity fundraising, and has donated to and worked with a number of charity organisations.
Included in this are the RNLI and MagAid. For the RNLI Signature funded the purchase of an inshore rescue boat, named Signature Publishing. This is based at Bantham Beach in Devon, and the boat has been engaged in many rescues, including lifesaving ones.
MagAid was conceived and formed by former Chief Executive Clive Foskett as a charity to encourage and improve standards of literacy in the UK. The charity has now been adopted by the PPA and has gained the support of many other companies across the whole magazine publishing industry. Working in cooperation with the National Literacy Trust, MagAid has already funded school projects to encourage and improve reading standards, using magazines as a part of this.
