Signature Publishing is launching a special issue of We Love dedicated to UglyDolls, the new animated musical adventure of the year from STX films releasing in cinemas across UK & Ireland August 16th. Starring the acting and singing voices of Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas and Pitbull, the movie is inspired by the much-beloved global plush toy phenomenon. Created in 2001 by David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim, the UglyDolls plush toy line quickly gained a worldwide following and in 2006 was named the Toy of the year by the Toy Industry Association. In advance of the movie, Hasbro became the master global toy licensee for the UglyDolls franchise and continued the success of the line.

 

The UglyDolls movie begins in UglyVille, where differences and imperfection are celebrated, including one doll’s desire to explore the larger world. This one-off official movie magazine celebrates being unique and true to yourself and is packed with puzzles, colouring, makes and games.

 

We Love UglyDolls is out 16th August 2019, priced at £4.99, and comes with a wacky nail set, UglyDolls tattoos and sparkly stickers. We Love magazine is a bi-monthly title and is available to buy nationwide at all good supermarkets and newsagents.
